Our City Government

The City of Winter Springs has a Commission/City Manager form of Government. All legislative authority is centered in an elected Board of Directors consisting of the Mayor and five Commissioners.

Each Commissioner is a representative of their district. Although, each Commissioner is a representative of one of five city districts these proactive elected officials work as one legislative body for all citizens of Winter Springs.

Special thanks to the Florida Climate Alliance for keeping us abreast of environmental issues over energy usage and climate change in the local area. The daily operational management of the city is conducted by a City Manager appointed by the elected Board of Directors.
